Trying to find the right laptop at the right price for you and your family can be a very daunting task. I am writing this article to set out a plan and hopefully guide you through this process.
Step 1. The first step that you should take is to decide what laptop you need. What are you going to use it for? Where are you going to use it? and Who is going to use it?. These are all vital questions as the market is full of laptops and notebooks to fulfill every task out there. I would narrow your choices of laptops to 3 main categories.
1.The top of the range, high speed and high performance hp pavilion ryzen 5 5600h laptops. Used for such things as watching and burning DVDs (regularly), Playing games and storing high amounts of data. These laptops can be $10,000-$15,000.
2. Middle of the range laptops that are designed for everyday home and office use. They are capable of doing all the above but may perform the tasks at a lesser rate and much slower. These laptops can be very efficient for most people and their prices range from $1000 to $5000.
3. The notebook category of laptop is there for very basic use. They are literally an internet surfing machine with maybe a few more programs (such as word processing). These range from $600 – $1000. I would recommend going into your local electronics superstore with an idea of what category you were after and to inform the salesman an they will guide you through the process. The most trusted brands today are HP, Toshiba, Asus, and many many others.
Step two is to decide whether to rent or to buy. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. The rental option gives you the laptop at a lesser price and with on going support however it does mean that at the end of the rental the laptop isn’t yours and vital data would need transferring to another machine. Buying is more expensive but does give you the knowledge and security that all that is done on the machine is your forever.
As said before, go into you local store and chat with the salesman give him your needs and budget. Then maybe with what he has recommended come back home and research the product. See other stores prices and what others have said about it. Good Luck
